By using a loop type transport table, the production volume is greatly increased. In order to transport liquid crystal glass smoothly, the linear motion rolling guide must have high rigidity and high mounting accuracy.

The glass substrate transport robot is an articulated robot that transports liquid crystal and other glass substrates for flat panel displays through the manufacturing and inspection processes. Compared with a conventional type robot that incorporates a motor in each joint, this robot uses less motors so the weight of the arms is reduced. This means that bearings supporting fulcrums must have high load capacity and rigidity.
